Founded in Ho Chi Minh City in 2011, Rice is an award-winning creative studio that helps brands, places, and people grow through purposeful design. Built on creativity, integrity, and collaboration, the studio has developed a strong culture and a global outlook. Rice Studios is now BaseSGN — part of the Base Design family, a global network of independent studios across New York, Brussels, Geneva, Melbourne, Digital and now proudly, Ho Chi Minh City. This is not a merger or an acquisition — it’s the natural evolution of everything we’ve built for the past 15 years: helping brands move from Vietnam to the world, and from the world into Vietnam. Same team, same leadership, same passion — now connected to a global network with even more to offer. Rice lives on as a platform for ventures, products, and educational initiatives that nurture creativity and support the next generation of talent across Vietnam and beyond.
